Our Founder
My name is Rebecca Kenison, and I hold a Master of Business Administration from Lindenwood University and a Bachelor of Science in Marketing/Management from Southern Illinois University. Additionally, I have pursued coursework in Public Affairs at the University of Missouri and completed certifications in Municipal Planning and Zoning from both the University of Ohio and University of Missouri St. Louis. I am committed to continuous learning, having also earned certifications in Data and AI Storytelling from Purdue University and Project Management from the Project Management Academy. My educational background, combined with my hands-on experience, gives me a broad variety of knowledge to leverage in assisting my clients and providing tailored, actionable solutions that drive success.

Rooted in the communities of southwestern Illinois and the greater St. Louis region, my professional journey has been shaped by adaptability, curiosity, and a deep respect for small and family-owned businesses. With experience spanning more than ten diverse industries—including nonprofit leadership, public policy, retail operations, food manufacturing, financial services, and emerging markets—I bring a multifaceted perspective to the evolving needs of today’s business landscape.
From national corporations to local enterprises, my background includes roles with Fortune 500 companies, regional partnerships, and consulting work that supports growth and sustainability. These experiences have equipped me with the ability to identify opportunities, build strategic solutions, and guide organizations through transition and change.
A pivotal chapter of my career involved working on federal policy reform as a National Fellow, collaborating across sectors to address systemic barriers and implement lasting improvements. This experience reinforced my belief in the power of strategic alignment, collaborative leadership, and meaningful advocacy—principles that now guide my work with both organizations and individuals.
As the founder of RK Solutions Group, LLC, I offer tailored consulting services to small businesses and nonprofit organizations seeking to grow, realign, or restructure. I also support professionals and entrepreneurs navigating career transitions, drawing from my own journey of reinvention across industries and sectors.
In leadership roles, including my time as Executive Director of a regional planning commission, I have led initiatives that significantly expanded operating capacity, strengthened public-private partnerships, and supported economic development across multiple counties.
